RPV’s 16-Year-Old Kaito Kuba Soars Solo! A Pulse Visionary Story
Kaito began flight training at South Bay Aviation in Torrance in June 2024. On March 27, 2025, he flew his first solo flight, exclaiming, “I felt free in Torrance’s sky!” Soloing at 16 is a rare feat—most pilots achieve this years later. His passion and discipline inspire our community.
A star on the PVPHS Varsity tennis team since freshman year, Kaito balances sports and aviation, supported by his instructors, family, and South Bay neighbors. He turns 17 on May 18, aiming for his Private Pilot License soon after, with plans to study aviation at a California university.
